Stage Play: Over on Grim Street

Your life is not meaningless. It is a set of meaningless problems that you are unable to solve due to your own idiocy.
— Grim, Over on Grim Street

Synopsis

80-year-old Tabitha lives in a bungalow by herself. However, today she is joined by the Grim Reaper, who she calls Grim. Grim has found themselves on the run from the law, after suffering an existential crisis, hence why they have suddenly appeared in Tabitha's kitchen. Tabitha must deal with this, along with cute neighbours and bossy friends.

Tabitha has felt at a standstill since the death of her husband, and Grim is questioning their place in the world. While unlikely friends, the two have the chance to learn that death may not be quite what people perceive.

Genre: Comedy

Length: 1 hour

Characters: 5 (2 Male, 2 Female, 1 Gender-Neutral)

The character number does not include the News Broadcaster or the Authorities, as they are off-stage roles.

Over on Grim Street is a one-act play. The script was shortened and adapted for remote filming for Online@theSpaceUK, hence why the script PDF and recorded version are different.
